Production Operative

Position: Production Operative 

Overview:

Jersey Dairy are seeking to recruit a full time Production Operative to become part of the team based at Trinity.

Reporting to the Production Management team you will be a key member responsible for the production and packing of dairy products for local and export markets.

Basic hours of employment are 39 hours per week, based on a 4 over 7 day working week. Normal working week is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Shift work is required, along with some Wednesdays and Saturdays, depending on business demands.

Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with a highly focused approach to quality and hygiene. The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with flexibility in your approach to varying duties. 

The ability to undertake routine maintenance and the operating of machinery is a pre-requisite of the role. 

5 years continuous residency is required. 

Key Qualities: 

Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.  

Skill in operating machinery and making precise adjustments.  

Organisational ability and capacity to follow detailed instructions. 

Constant vigilance to ensure safety and quality.
