Jersey Dairy wins at the Great British Food Awards 2020

Jersey Dairy are excited to announce that their delicious Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream won an award at the Great British Food Awards 2020.

The awards were judged by a panel of celebrity chefs, critics, food writers and influential buyers including The Hairy Bikers, Booths supermarket, Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galetti, William Sitwell, Olly Smith and Asma Khan. Natasha Lovell-Smith, Chair of the panel said, “Our judges judged your product to be the best, not an easy choice in a market that’s full of quality and incredible provenance.”

Jersey Dairy’s Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream was the winner in the South West category and the judges highlighted that Jersey Dairy is a company with rich history and strong provenance dating back to 1763. It’s the herd’s access to fresh grass and sea air that produces the distinctive and unique creamy milk, which is used in the company’s delicious luxury ice cream mix.

Jersey Dairy’s Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream is sold both locally and around the world. With an incredible 20million rich and creamy soft serve ice creams being sold in Britain every year, you can find a Jersey Dairy ice cream all the way from Edinburgh down to Brighton Pier.

Eamon Fenlon, Managing Director of Jersey Dairy said, “This is a remarkable and well-deserved achievement that we are all very proud of. Since the launch of our Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream into the UK in 2012 our sales have increased substantially each and every year. British consumers have recognised the natural, nutritious and delicious taste of ice cream made with the finest Jersey milk from our pedigree herds.
